The Vortex 24 V2 is Pride Racing's high performance crankset.Learn more
The PRIDE RACING Vortex crankset is made for competiting in BMX RACE.
After a few months of developping and testing, the beast is finally here ! Many details shows a very reactive and stiff crankset.
The arms of the crank are made in Aluminium 7075-T6 which is the material used in aeronautical industry. Famous for the stiffness that the 7075 can offer. Way better than the traditional 6061-T6.
We’ve made the internal side with the « waffle design » ; It means that we earn weight without having any impact on resistance stresses. The spider of the crank is all made with CNC machning which is a really big point, the precision of the machining avoid to have any hard point furing the pedaling.
AXLE AND CHAIN LINE
After 2 years of hard working, our brand new axle is made with CrMo on 24mm diameter. Really thick and longer than the previous version. The chain line is optimized and gives a 44mm chain line.
A BETTER Q FACTOR
The Q factor for a pedaling smoother ! More narrow than the famous silver crankset but large enough to avoid any contact with the frame or having an unconfortable pedaling.

TECHNICAL TIPS
With a Pride Racing configuration, namely :
- Vortex 24 V2 crankset / COG Spiral V2 / Control hubs
Pride Racing offers a precise adjustment to have a perfectly straight chain line. With this diagram, you can adjust the location of your COG on your hub to have a chain line as straight as possible. These calculations are made at the French brand's design office to offer you the most optimized transmission possible.
Having a Pride Racing configuration with a 44.0 chain line - It is recommended to place your COG at this precise location to obtain an optimal chain line. Using a caliper or ruler, you can adjust your placement using the spacers provided with the rear hub.
