PRIDE RACING FTL STEM - Ø31.8MM
The Pride Racing stem is designed for BMX Race use. Neither TopLoad nor FrontLoad, the FTL is classified as a Front/Top Load stem. A part developed at the request of a top Pride Racing rider, Renaud Blanc. This stem allows you to lower your cockpit to make the bike more responsive and playful. With its very low rise, it features a flat underside to avoid any contact with the frame’s top tube in the event of a crash. This stem is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, CNC-machined from a single block. M8 stainless steel hardware compliant with DIN 912 standards.
With a 54mm-wide handlebar clamping surface, this provides significantly increased stiffness while riding. This stem is also available in a 35mm length, making the FTL the shortest stem on the BMX Race market in PRO size today. Using a 35mm stem allows you to compensate for top tube length. If you plan to change to a larger frame or if the rider area feels too long, you can compensate with a 35mm stem. This Pride Racing FTL stem is available only in 31.8mm diameter (handlebar clamp).
NOTE: You can also choose Titanium hardware, saving 50g on the total weight of your stem.
